Surface @ Microsoft
Hammered out on | December 27, 2007
Amazing applications. Can’t wait for it to be implemented everywhere. This has way more commercial viability than the solo user focus à la Jeff Han; his was cool, but I didn’t really see myself getting super excited to use it for myself. Blame my cultivated reliance on the mouse and its resultant laziness. In this day and age, it’s all about connectivity.

Nice pointer Gwen. Jeff Han has a nice demo on his company’s web site where you can see multi-user input on a grand scale.

I particularly like the ‘Surface’ recognising digital devices when they are placed on it.
The applications and possibilities are quite exciting, although I haven’t had any success in finding one. Anyone know if they are actually released into the wild?
