This has got to be one of my favourite So You Think You Can Dance performances. Katee’s unbelieveable. I hope she wins.

Sleeping in a tent in airports

    Hammered out on | July 18, 2008

I actually haven’t done this, though I have slept on the hard ground for a few hours in the Lima (Peru) airport before. But interestingly, tourists stranded in Singapore’s Changi Airport needn’t worry. There are alarm clocks embedded in the chairs!

    Streets of Sapa

    Hammered out on | May 5, 2008

    (Previous: The mountains of Sapa.)

    Main street of Sapa.

The crowded entrance to the Sapa market. We didn’t subject ourselves to the perils of having to navigate our way through the mass of peoples.

We explored the market itself a few days later.

    Streetside wares.

    Surrounded by blankets.

    Making a living.
